The subtle and not-so-subtle differences in how we communicate through body language can make or break your next communication. It’s common to misinterpret body language clues when processing them through faulty filters.
Cultural nuances, gender biases, language barriers and social customs all contribute to roadblocks in understanding each other.
Combine that with poor listening skills and it’s a wonder anyone ever communicates. When you accurately read body language and brush-up your listening skills, you will be more successful in all business and personal exchanges.

Speaker: Mary Redmond
Mary A. Redmond is an international speaker, author, negotiator and body language expert.
For more than 21 years Mary negotiated contracts for some of the largest financial institutions in the world including GE Capital, Ford Financial Services, Mellon Bank and Wells Fargo Bank.
For the past 14 years, she has focused on clients who want to improve their negotiation abilities and master reading body language. She presents workshops and keynotes to corporations and association throughout the world. Many retain Mary as their “hired gun” negotiator. Others want her to coach, consult and strategize prior to a pending negotiations.
Mary is the author and creator of the LeaseSpeak™ System: Your Guide to Saving Money on Leases. In 2011, she co-created the program Men and Women Do it Differently...Negotiate that is! In 2012, she released Men and Women Show it Differently...Body Language that is! In 2014, Redmond released a ninety-minute training DVD, Negotiate: Be H.E.A.R.D. In addition, just released is her newest DVD: Body Language Unlocked: See What You Say.
